Birthdays have always been something many people look forward to. And among many people, I consider myself as one. I just feel that aside from Christmas, Birthday is a day where you feel very special and feel the love of the people that surrounds you. I’ve been living independently for quite some time now. And I must say that I’ve been through many ups and downs too! And now as I turn 24, I couldn’t be more excited as to what lies ahead of me.

Turning 24 in the time of Quarantine

Celebrating a birthday today can be very pretty far as to how it’s done before. Considering that there’s a pandemic going on, big gatherings are highly not recommendable. But you can still celebrate it though with your close friends, families, or loved ones by following some safety protocols. Just like I did! 😉

I was not really able to take a lot of photos during my birthday dinner with friends though. I was pretty occupied with catching up and was just enjoying the food. Haha.  Anyway, moving forward. This blog is actually not the usual blogs that I do. This is just gonna be more of a visual diary of some snaps from my special day. 😍😍

What’s poppin at 24?

BALLOONS. I have always wanted to have balloons on my birthday. In fact, this is the first time I got to set up balloons for my birthday since I only do this often for my friends. Haha. It’s because I’m usually out or traveling somewhere on my birthday. And since we’re at home most of the time now, I decided to get myself some. 😍

I don’t know why but celebrations like birthday just feel more lively with balloons. I chose my favorite colors for this arrangement with @aldrincore’s help too. 😂

FLOWERS. I have always wanted to receive flowers on my birthday. And this time around, it finally happened. Thanks to my boyfriend who made the way to get this big bouquet of gypsophila flowers done for me.

CAKES. Yes, of course, a birthday wouldn’t be complete without having a cake. And I must say that this year’s birthday is so full of beautiful cakes! Got pretty cakes on my birthday from my boyfie, my friends and my sibling too. And knowing that I’m really fan of cakes, these made me so happy! 😍

I would also want to take this chance to thank all the people who greeted me on my 24th birthday. I wish all the best in life: Good health and Success. Praying that everything will be back to normal too so we can go and travel to beautiful places again. To another amazing birthday again next year! 😍🥳
