It sure feels nice to have a nearby coffee shop from your home. While coffee shops and cafes in Cebu are found in Cebu City, people from the South and North still need to travel to enjoy a good cup of coffee. That’s why when we heard that there’s a new coffee shop in Talisay, our excitement was there then! Just a few minutes from our home is this minimalist cafe — Akasya Cafe.
Discovering Akasya Cafe in Talisay City, Cebu
Akasya Cafe just opened in the City of Talisay last year. It is located on Sangi Road, Tabunok, Talisay City, Cebu (which is just a minute’s walk from Gaisano Tabunok). They are open from 11 AM – 9 PM daily, serving good and affordable coffee to Talisaynons and people coming over.
Akasya Cafe’s whole look was minimalist and surely feels homey! Indeed, a place for people who wants their surroundings not so stuffed and could take good photos from any angle.
As shown above, the cafe is customed to offer indoor and al fresco dining. Now, this makes customers choose where they want to sit and chill out. There are also some outlets inside the cafe so if you have some deliverables that you need to work on, you can do it there as well.
Akasya Cafe Experience
It is on a Friday morning when we went to Akasya Cafe. It was not crowded, and as far as I remember, we were the only people when we got there. We then ordered a coffee to start the day off and matcha for Aldrin as he’s not into coffee.
Their bestsellers are of course their coffee and their Strawberries & Cream Croissant from their pastries. It comes in mini size and in a regular-sized croissant. One mini croissant might be lacking so better to order 2 or 3 so you’ll be satisfied. If you’re not into croissants, they have chocolate cake and paninis too.
I can say that Akasya Cafe can be Instagrammable for many and is worth visiting! Affordable prices, good coffee, nice ambiance, a place to catch up with friends, are factors that you’ll love about this cafe.
