Shaka has been really popular when it comes to their pretty and healthy smoothie bowls. And for many people, especially those who have already traveled to Siargao where it’s usually known, this cafe is simply beautiful. I have also been there during my Siargao trip last year and the vibe is just amazing! Like imagine eating a healthy smoothie bowl or having coffee just in front of the beach, it just feels awesome!
But did you know that Shaka Cafe is not only found on the beautiful island of Siargao?
Discovering Shaka Cafe in Moalboal
Shaka Cafe does have more than one branch aside from the one in Siargao Island. They can also be found in some of the Philippines’ beautiful tourist destinations like Bohol, El Nido, and Moalboal in Cebu.
Recently, I went to Kawasan Falls for an adventure with two of my friends, Aldrin and Lianne. And since we actually finished our trip to Kawasan falls early as expected, we thought of dropping by at Shaka Cafe in Moalboal to fill our stomachs.
Moalboal is a well-known paradise for tourists because of its sardine run attraction. Besides this, it’s pretty popular as well because of its unspoiled pristine white beach and beautiful marine life. That counts not only tourists coming from the Philippines but around the world. And if you want to experience the beauty of Moalboal’s white beach, that should be in Basdaku Moalboal. While dive shops or the base for the sardine run attraction would be in Panagsama Beach in Basdiot where Shaka Cafe is located.

The first time I have been to a Shaka Cafe was when I was in Siargao Island. And I could still recall the feeling, and it’s somehow similar to the one that they have in Moalboal. The smoothie bowls still even are on par with Siargao’s branch and the staff are very friendly to everyone! Also, need not to worry about taking a photo as well here since the place is very Instagram-worthy!
