It was on a Sunday morning where the weather was a bit unpredictable. It was sunny, then it rained, and just keeps on taking turns. While the rain started to pour comes the vacancy of the weekend as well. So I invited Aldrin to come with me and have some coffee at one of the Instagrammable spots near their house – Coffee Project. I was just thinking of chilling out real quick and get some snaps done. But never did I know I would find another Instagrammable Spot near the place we’re going.

Sunday Stop at Starmall Talisay City, Cebu

This is not the first time we’ve been to Starmall and Coffee Project. If you have been one of my readers before, I have already made a special blog about Coffee Project way back in January as to what to expect in the cafe.

To give you an idea, the Coffee Project is one of the most Instagram-worthy cafes that you can find here in Cebu. It’s bringing a modern + rustic vibes as this cafe got good rustic interiors.

Coffee Project having located in a mall also follows safety protocols such as social distancing. Contact tracing is also done upon entering the cafe. But unlike before, you can’t enter Coffee Project at their front door. All establishments connected to Starmall would need to get through the mall’s main entrance.

Bake My Day

When I was enjoying my coffee, I saw a pop-up store selling Ube Pandesal outside. I was curious about it but decided to take a walk first and get back to it in a while. But upon walking to the corner of Starmall comes the sight of that pop-up’s main store – Bake My Day.

I have already heard about this store as I see them always on FoodPanda with our radius here in Talisay. But this is the first time I got to see the physical store and it was so pretty! It was so vibrant and the place is just so inviting.

Bake My Day’s specialties would be their bread and pastries. And not only in Cebu, but they do have plenty of branches too around the Philippines. We only bought a few pieces of bread and I got myself a bread version of the trendy Sushi Roll. It was pretty good too!

And of course, we wouldn’t miss taking some photos! Their shop’s facade in the mall just got some good lighting and it’s Instagram-worthy too! 😍

OPERATING HOURS: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Both establishments follow Starmall’s Operating Hours this quarantine. I suggest you better be there early or around the afternoon to avoid the crowd. Face masks and face shields are both required too so don’t forget them!
